OUR BLOND COVER

Our Blond Covers est fondé en 2013 par trois amis d’enfance, Maxime au chant/guitare, Vincent à la guitare et Florian à la basse. Alexandre les rejoindra un an après à la batterie.

Our Blond Covers pourrait se traduire par la rencontre de Queens of the Stone Age et Incubus. Le groupe enregistre leur premier EP cette année.
A l’ère de la musique composée sur ordinateur, Our Blond Covers revendique le côté humain de leur musique. Pour eux le rock est imparfait et c’est ce qui donne toute son originalité.
L’esprit du groupe se traduit par une simple phrase citée par Dave Grohl :

« I don’t want to be perfect. I want to be badass. »

Our Blond Covers was formed in 2013 by three childhood friends: lead vocalist and guitarist Maxime, guitarist Vincent and bassist Florian.

A year later, they were joined by Alexandre on drums. Our Blond Covers could be described as a fusion between Queens of the Stone Age and Incubus.The group are recording their first EP this year.In an era where music is largely composed using computer technology, Our Blond Covers stresses the ‘human’ aspect of their music, as they believe that the originality of rock is rooted in its imperfectability.The group’s ethos can be conveyed simply through the words of Dave Grohl:

“I don’t want to be perfect. I want to be badass”.
