Sous des influences de Miriam Makeba, Tracy Chapman, Lizz Wright, Patricia Essong sort maintenant son tout premier album intitulé "Soul of Nü Bantu", en mai 2016.
Dans cet album, elle fait le choix de l'enracinement en se ré-appropriant son héritage culturel bantou agrémenté de sa propre sensibilité.
