Les GRANDMOTHERS OF INVENTION sont les seuls anciens de Frank Zappa / Mothers of Invention qui ont constamment joué la musique du maestro depuis 2003. Des classiques "Freak Out", "Absolutely Free", "We're Only In It For The Money", "Uncle Meat" et "Burnt Weeny Sandwich" - jusqu'à - "Weasels Ripped My Flesh", "Apostrophe", "The Grand Wazoo", "Overnite Sensation", "Roxy & Elsewhere", "Bongo Fury", et "One Size Fits All" - ils ont joué une très longue liste des albums, films et autres projets de Frank Zappa & the Mother's of Invention's.
